Your best wishes, please. A senior DevOps position has opened up at FetLife and I just had my first interview. Well, I say my first interview, it was arranged as a 'screening call' but they told me there are no further interviews. So either

• They fucked up the event text
• They really hated me

or

• They've already decided they want me

The interview went - from my perspective, anyway - really well. I don't let myself get excited about things like this as I don't take getting let down well unless I keep it down to start with. The fact that I'm losing my mind should serve as an indicator of how well I thought it went.

Today I am remembering that time I spent the day being interviewed by every CBC Radio local station one after the other about the Tories' porn filter plans, and needed a mic stand, so I grabbed a netbook and a ring gag.
