I've duplicated BLIT to share with a friend, and because the only place it's available online still thinks everyone uses 800x600 desktop resolution.

It's one my favourite short stories, and it's what I named my Mastodon instance, basilisk.gallery, after. Take a few minutes and give it a read, you won't regret it.

Langford wrote some followup stories and prequels, which are published in his short story collection. I won't duplicate those, but they're worth checking out.
